We wanted to share a nice overview of Joomla Day Chicago that happened August 10th - 11th, 2012. for those that were not able to attend this wonderful event.

Cloud hosted web and collaboration applications are fast growing and many of the most well known software companies are replacing their computer based applications with new web versions of those same applications. Many web development companies and teams can take advantage of these cloud hosted and Software as a Service (SaaS) applications to save money over using computer based applications. Some software companies are even utilizing hybrid software that works both locally on the computer in conjunction with the cloud applications.

Last weekend I attended and presented at the Joomla Day New England event in Brattleboro, Vermont. What a lovely little town this is. This was our second year presenting at this great event.

We are happy to announce 2 new releases of Event Registration Pro, the Enterprise level event management software for the Joomla CMS.

We have released both Event Registration Pro 1.5.20 and 1.7.2 for Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 1.7.

We encourage all existing customers to update to these latest versions to take advantage of the latest stability and features we have to offer.

Joomla 1.7.0 Stable has been released. This new version is a testament to the dedication to the new 6 month release cycle that the Production Leadership Team has committed themselves to.

As always we are very happy to announce the release of 2 new versions of Event Registration Pro. Both the Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 1.6 versions have been updated.

These updates address some minor annoying bugs that were found but nothing major.

We have also added some new features as we always do. We are encouraging everyone to update their installations to these latest version to take advantage of the stability and advanced features that these new versions have to offer.
